European Storm-Petrel- For the third consecutive year, we found this species in late May off Cape Hatteras.  We has a single bird which returned to us for over an hour on May 28, and the following day, we found a different individual, which was also well seen and photographed.  It appears that they are very low-density annual vagrants to the western North Atlantic.   Photo © Steve NG Howell
